| Position: Combustion Turbine Technician - Talbot Energy Facility (Two positions available) |
| Description: 1. Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of the Corporation's or Owner's assets at the assigned facility to ensure that reliability, availability, and unit performance is exceptional. That production costs meet the needs of the Corporation's business plan and that additional costs or adverse effects due to equipment failure are minimized. 2. Responsible for assigned systems and sub systems at the facility including; operation, maintenance, performance management, procurement of spare parts and supplies. In addition to recommending alternative solutions to meet operational or business needs 3. Responsible for maintaining individual safe work practices while performing duties. Following established procedures in performing or maintaining the lock out, tag out system for the safe isolation of equipment for repair. Documenting and communicating operational or maintenance conditions and activities to allow the efficient and orderly transfer of information to others. 4. Responsible for the preparation of plans and reports to the Corporation's local, division and senior management, owners, regulatory authorities and other agencies to assure compliance with regulations and the terms of the Management Services Agreement. 5. Responsible for administration of contracts and coordination of contract support services as required to meet the facility business plan. Perform hands-on routine operational, maintenance and administrative duties as required. |

| Position: Vice President, Construction |
| Description: The Vice President, Construction has the responsibility for leading the strategic development as well as the tactical implementation of a construction organization to build Oglethorpe's new generating facilities. This will initially include at least two, possible three, 100 megawatt biomass electric generating facilities, but may also include other generating facilities. The primary charter is to lead the strategy of conceptualizing, then developing and building electric generation facilities, ensuring the delivery of every project on time and within budget. Specific responsibilities include: Assist in all phases of construction planning for the facilities. This includes site selection, conceptual design, project development activities and all planning supporting construction activities. Manage the development and presentation of business strategy and policy recommendations to the COO, CEO and Board of Directors related to construction initiatives for all electric generation projects. Develop and maintain relations with the Executive management, as well as all other appropriate members of Member Systems. Provide executive direction and general management regarding organization and staffing, operations and performance management to the department management of the functions that report once this function is fully established. Manage special projects as directed by the COO. Oversight responsibilities for all aspects of construction, field supervision, architects, subcontractors and vendors to assure the product schedule and the cost parameters are maintained. |

| Position: Vice President, Fuels |
| Description: The Vice President, Fuels has the responsibility for the overall management of the fuel procurement business functions for the Corporation's diverse power supply resources. Primary responsibilities include the development and implementation of strategies for the procurement and hedging of coal, natural gas, fuel oil and biomass fuel types as well as ensuring that all procurement activities are in accordance with established Corporate Risk Management policies and guidelines. 1. Development and implementation of strategies for procurement and delivery of natural gas supplies. This includes gas storage and integration of new gas fired resources. 2. Development and implementation of strategies for procurement and delivery of biomass fuel supplies for new biomass plants. This includes development of a new organization to perform this function. 3. Development and implementation of strategies for procurement and delivery of coal supplies. 4. Responsible for tracking nuclear fuel supply chain exposure and development of hedging program if appropriate. 5. Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to Board of Directors, Executive Staff, Members and other audiences as required. 6. Manage special projects as directed by the COO. 7. Development and implementation of strategies to procure and deliver fuel oil supplies. 8. Manage the Aces Power Marketing services contract. |

| Description: Responsible for creating & executing recruitment strategies, sourcing top talent, creating & maintaining a candidate database and coordinating the entire process in conjunction with our hiring managers. Interview and recommend placement of candidates for entry level, technical and experienced professional positions from both internal and external sources. May recruit management level positions. Seeks networks and sources of candidates, including industry and/or minority specific sources, via Internet, print ads, direct sourcing, colleges and job fairs. Refer applicants for particular job openings, administers pre-employment tests and conducts background checks. Ensure compliance with all legal aspects of the employment function. Perform all aspects of recruiting for the organization from defining the position requirements and the initial posting of a position through the on-boarding process. This includes but is not limited to: performing searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job requirements using, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, computer databases, recruiting firms, and employee referrals; posting jobs, placing ads, screening resumes, interviewing candidates; candidate testing, business and personal reference checks, education verification, criminal background checks, scheduling drug screens; arranging travel and lodging for applicants, and facilitates relocation requirements; extending job offers, negotiating start pay, bonuses, vacation, and other incentives; position control and maintaining associate data in HRIS system; applicant orientation to company and company benefits and initial new hire processing; and any administrative necessities associated with the recruiting and hiring process. Guidance provided by Senior Generalist as needed. Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to develop specific recruiting plans and maintains constant coordination with the hiring manager. Assist with all aspects of current and future hiring and business needs within each department. Develop and maintain professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants. Schedule and attend job/career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants. Direct the efforts of employment agencies and search firms including negotiating and controlling employment related fees. Prepare and maintain all staffing records including: records on recruiting activities, hiring statistics, job description maintenance, job evaluation results and maintain records on recruiting activities as required by law and statutes. Provide additional support to the Senior Generalist, VP, Human Resources, and Department Managers on HR related matters as required. Develop and conduct training programs for managers designed to improve recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reduce turnover. Participate in development of annual recruiting budget. |
